It is possible to upgrade your VPS via a request to our Support Team.
You cannot request to upgrade just one item of your server’s plan, only the entire tariff. The tariff includes server’s location, vCPU, RAM, hard disk space, network bandwidth (limited or unlimited), the OS, number of gigabytes of included traffic.
You can check the specifications of your tariff and tariffs higher on our website or at the shop-window when ordering a server.

After you’ve chosen a plan you would like to upgrade to, please, let our Support Team know via ticket from your Hosting portal. We will process the request on our end and inform you once the upgrade is finished.
Here’s how you can submit a ticket:
- Go to your Virtual Private Servers tab;
- Choose a server you would like to upgrade and click on it;
- Click on Question to submit a ticket.
Alternatively, you can go to the Support tickets tab and click Add to submit a ticket.
Before you request the upgrade, here are some important details to keep in mind:
- We can only upgrade your Virtual Server, we cannot downgrade it. Meaning, we will not be able to return the server to its previous tariff after the upgrade;
- The price of the server is recalculated according to the price of the new tariff;
- There’s no data loss and the IP of the server remains the same after the upgrade;
- The upgrade process takes about 30-60 minutes and there’s an expected downtime during it. The server will be rebooted in the process. If you require a specific timeframe, please mention it to the Support Team when requesting the upgrade;
- If a new plan includes more hard disk space than the previous one, new partitions will not be mounted automatically. You will need to either perform configurations to expand the partition inside the OS or reinstall the OS on your server (please, note, that reinstalling OS means expected data loss);
- You can request the upgrade anytime, however, please, note that we perform upgrades during weekdays;
- We can only upgrade a server to the tariff in the same location, we cannot upgrade your server to a tariff in a different location.
