CDN setup stuck at "Change nameservers"
Hi,
last Wednesday I opened a Gcore account and activated WAAP, CDN and Managed DNS. I immediately changed the Nameserver records to ns1.gcorelabs.net and ns2.gcdn.services and imported all other DNS records.
Since then, when I open the CDN section I get an error message at the top that tells me to complete my nameserver change to start working. When I click “Check nameserver status” I get the message “need to be changed”.
According to https://dnschecker.org/#NS/die-lernecke.de the nameserver settings are already correct, and have been since shortly after I changed them.
What am I missing here?
Kind regards
Michael Gerhardt

Hello,
We see that for the domain die-lernecke.de, the Nameservers were changed, but for the domain www.die-lernecke.de, not.
Please update the Nameservers for www.die-lernecke.de as specified in the setup guide.

Hi Maria,
thanks for your reply! Unfortunately I don't understand. Do you mean NS records for the www-Subdomain? Usually you don't need those, because the NS records apply for the complete zone.
At the moment I'm rolling back everything and start the Gcore setup anew. Maybe I missed something the first time.

Hello,
Yes, that is correct. Since the CDN resource was for the www subdomain, you needed to create NS records for it as well.
If you don't want to create other NS records, you can integrate the CDN resource for static files, but you will need to set up a CNAME record - https://gcore.com/docs/cdn/getting-started/create-a-cdn-resource/create-a-cdn-resource-for-the-entire-site
